Im Westen ist die vibrierende alternative Untergrund Szene Koreas kaum bekannt, wird noch selten vorgestellt. Die fünf intermedialen Klangkünstler, Vertreter der Korean Soundart Music – intermedia underground music haben alle ihr technisches Instrumentarium, ihre Bild- und Klangmaschinen, selbst entwickelt und gebaut, sie treten in Solos und Duos auf.
Although mainstream entertainment has become one of Korea’s largest exports, it’s underground music scene keeps a low profile to the western world. However, a handful of dedicated artists have developed a highly personal instrumental practice that is utterly unique in the global landscape of experimental sound. Five audio-visual artists central to this scene will be performing.
